It’s not uncommon for Arizonans to say that October is their favorite month.
Like March, October is warm but not hot. And like March, it’s a transition between shorts and pants – by the end of October, I’ll have put my shorts away until March.
Unlike March, however, October follows the long, hot summer.
The glorious weather gives me a giddy feeling knowing I have 8 more months of great weather! It has a bit of the same feeling as running home after the last day of school – freedom.
