In the Raw juice bar gets plenty of traffic but parking can be a challenge in that McCormick Ranch shopping area.

The original location of this slick bistro/market/coffeehouse/juice bar is attractively situated along the greenbelt area in Scottsdale’s McCormick Ranch, with a pretty view of a man-made lake. (A second site is in Gilbert).

Inside, there’s a long counter with barstools, a couple of tables and a self-service coffee fixins’ area in between the floor-to-ceiling stock of natural snacks, vitamins, supplements and decor items for people and pets. The dozen or so tables on the outdoor patio are usually filled with diners and their dogs; this is a pet-friendly eatery.

Made-to-order juices, smoothies, herbal elixirs and a few coffee and tea drinks are front and center on the menu; it’s possible to have a meal here using just a straw.
